Dharavandhoo Divers, nestled in the heart of the picturesque Baa Atoll in the Maldives, recently had the honor of hosting a unique group of divers from Italy from 23rd November to 2nd December 2023. What made this experience extraordinary was that our guests were visually impaired, presenting us with a set of challenges and learning opportunities that transcended the usual dynamics of a dive center.
As our blind divers entered the crystal-clear waters of the Maldives, we were acutely aware of the sensory challenges they faced. Each dive became an immersive experience, relying on the sounds of the ocean and the sensation of water movement to navigate.
